I’m so sorry for the break in posts. Veggie Hubby and I have been preparing for a rim to rim to rim Grand Canyon 2 day 46 mile hike later this year. I’ve finally caught my breath and thought I would share some of our favorite snacks that we have found while we have been training.
Our newest favorite bar is the Quest Bar. The doctor who helped us with our health plan last year recently recommend this bar. It is low in sugar and contains no artificial sweeteners. It is also gluten-free and high in protein. These bars come in a ton of different flavors. We order the 12-pack variety Quest Bars from Amazon and have tried 8 of them and have like all the flavors.
If you are a chocolate lover like me then you may want to start with the 12-pack variety Chocolate Lovers Quest Bars. Veggie Hubby isn’t as big of a chocolate person as I am, so we opted for the Variety pack with some flavors other than chocolate.
